I have had so much trouble trying to log on to my blogging account.
Thus, I have not had the chance to post any blog.
Nevertheless, I can recount numerous positive experiences in this
trip. It has been an amazing journey!
First of all, I fell in love with the architecture of the city of
Osnabruck upon our arrival. Once we got off the train, I looked at the
facade of the train station. It was one of the most beautiful stations
I have ever seen. We were then taken, by mini van, to the residence
halls we are residing in at the moment. How amazingly beautiful were
the buildings throughout the city. A sort of European style which I
had never laid eyes on or really admired. The richness in color of the
buildings of the city took me by surprise. I had always expected
European buildings to be red brick houses. However, these are full of
color, of energy and of history. The roads are amazing as well, most
importantly the roads in and around the city center. They are made of
stones, themselves full of history.
Every aspect of the German architecture that I have observed has
really encouraged me to peer at the city's history and learn about a
culture that was once foreign to me.
